NEVÜ SANAT KOLEKSİYONU VE GALERİSİ
Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Sanat Koleksiyonu ve Galerisinin Kurumsal Misyonu ve Tarihçesi
Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi (NEVÜ) Sanat Koleksiyonu ve Galerisi, bölgesel kültürel ve sanatsal belleğin güçlendirilmesi ve bölgenin tarihsel kodlarıyla uyumlu özgün bir sanat ortamının oluşturulması amacıyla kurulmuştur. Kuruluş süreci, 2017 yılında gerçekleştirilen odak grup çalışmalarıyla şekillenmiş; 2018 yılında yaklaşık 550 m² sergileme alanı ile faaliyetlerine başlamıştır.
Kuruluşundan itibaren sürdürülen kurumsal gelişim stratejileri doğrultusunda koleksiyon, özellikle 2025 yılı sonrasında önemli bir fiziksel ve işlevsel dönüşüm sürecine girmiştir. Yeni dönem üniversite yönetiminin sağladığı kurumsal destek ve vizyoner yaklaşım sayesinde Sanat Koleksiyonu ve Galerisi, sergileme kapasitesini genişleterek yaklaşık 1750 m²’lik kapsamlı bir sanat alanına dönüşmüştür. Bu büyüme yalnızca mekânsal bir genişleme ile sınırlı kalmamış; aynı zamanda koleksiyonun kurumsal kimliğini güçlendiren yeni bir açılım ve yeniden yapılandırma sürecini de beraberinde getirmiştir.
Bu kapsamda mekân; sergileme alanlarının yanı sıra toplantı odası, bakım-onarım ve depolama atölyesi ile mini çalıştay atölyesi gibi işlevsel birimleri içerecek şekilde yeniden organize edilmiştir. Söz konusu gelişmeler doğrultusunda NEVÜ Sanat Koleksiyonu ve Galerisi, Üniversite Senatosu kararıyla daha etkin, sürdürülebilir ve çok yönlü bir sanat platformu olarak yeniden yapılandırılarak faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.
NEVÜ Sanat Koleksiyonu ve Galerisi, altı ana sergileme alanı etrafında kurgulanmış olup çok disiplinli bir yapıya sahiptir. Koleksiyon, dönüşümlü sergileme anlayışı doğrultusunda 350’yi aşkın eseri izleyiciyle buluşturmakta; seramik, fotoğraf, baskıresim, resim, heykel, enstalasyon, kısa film ve disiplinlerarası sanat pratiklerine ait üretimleri kapsamaktadır. Koleksiyonun oluşum ve gelişim sürecinde İstanbul Grafik Sanatlar Müzesi (İMOGA), seçkin koleksiyonerler, sanatçı-akademisyenler ile NEVÜ Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi öğretim üyelerinin katkıları belirleyici olmuştur.
NEVÜ Sanat Koleksiyonu, Kapadokya bölgesinin görsel ve kültürel kimliğini desteklemenin ötesinde, bu mirasın sürekliliğini sağlamayı ve Türk sanat eğitimine kalıcı katkılar sunmayı temel misyon olarak benimsemektedir. Bu doğrultuda koleksiyon, yalnızca eserlerin sergilendiği bir alan olmanın ötesine geçerek, sanatın eğitsel ve toplumsal işlevlerini önceleyen bir yaklaşım sergilemektedir. Nitekim modern sanat müzeleri ve koleksiyonları, kültürel ve tarihsel değere sahip eserleri koruma, araştırma, sergileme ve bu eserler aracılığıyla toplumsal farkındalığı artırma gibi çok katmanlı işlevler üstlenmektedir.
Bu bağlamda NEVÜ Sanat Koleksiyonu, 2026 yılı itibarıyla yaklaşık 2000 m²’lik bir alanda, 350’yi aşkın eseri ve bünyesinde yer alan müze kafe gibi destek birimleriyle birlikte, sanatın kamusal, eğitsel ve kültürel boyutlarını bir araya getiren önemli bir platform olarak konumlanmıştır.
MİSYON
Türk sanatının geçmişten günümüze aktarılmış değerli sanat eserlerini korumak; bilimsel ve sanatsal araştırmalara katkı sunmak; müzeler, üniversiteler ve ilgili kurumlarla iş birliği yaparak sanatın farklı disiplinlerini bir araya getirmek; sanatsal ve eğitsel sonuçları yaymak ve yayımlamak.

Üniversitemizde görev alan araştırmacılar ve öğrenciler için uluslararası standartlarda, yaratıcı ve verimli bir araştırma ortamı oluşturmak,

Üniversitemizdeki ve bölgedeki bilimsel ve sanatsal faaliyetlerin nitelik ve niceliğini artırmak,

Genç sanatçıları desteklemek ve yetiştirmek suretiyle sanat alanında yeni kuşakların gelişimine katkıda bulunmak,

Toplumsal katkı projeleri geliştirerek sanatın toplumla buluşmasını sağlamak,

Merkezimizin çalışma alanına giren konularda kurslar, sertifika programları, konferanslar, seminerler, kongreler, çalıştaylar, sempozyumlar ve paneller gibi sanatsal ve bilimsel etkinlikler düzenlemek,
gelecek nesillerin estetik ve kültürel deneyimine katkı sağlamak misyonumuzdur.
VİZYON
Farklı disiplinlerden sanat eserleri koleksiyonumuzu sürekli geliştirerek, çağdaş eserlerin korunmasını sağlamak; sanat tarihimizin önemli dönemlerine ışık tutan, araştırma ve eğitim için başvurulabilir zengin bir kaynak oluşturmak ve bu alanda öncü bir merkez olmak vizyonumuzdur.
NEVÜ ART COLLECTION AND GALLERY
Institutional Mission and History of the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Art Collection and Gallery
The Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) Art Collection and Gallery was established with the aim of strengthening the regional cultural and artistic memory and creating a distinctive artistic environment in harmony with the historical codes of the region. The foundation process was shaped through focus group studies conducted in 2017, and the collection commenced its activities in 2018 with an exhibition area of approximately 550 m².
In line with the institutional development strategies pursued since its establishment, the collection has undergone a significant physical and functional transformation, particularly after 2025. With the institutional support and visionary approach of the new university administration, the Art Collection and Gallery expanded its exhibition capacity and evolved into a comprehensive art space of approximately 1,750 m². This growth has not been limited to spatial expansion; it has also brought about a new phase of development and restructuring that has strengthened the institutional identity of the collection.
Within this framework, the venue has been reorganized to include functional units such as meeting rooms, conservation and storage workshops, and a mini workshop studio, in addition to its exhibition spaces. As a result of these developments, the NEVÜ Art Collection and Gallery continues its activities as a more effective, sustainable, and multifaceted art platform, restructured by a decision of the University Senate.
The NEVÜ Art Collection and Gallery is structured around six main exhibition areas and has a multidisciplinary character. The collection presents more than 350 works through a rotating exhibition approach, encompassing ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, installation, short films, and interdisciplinary artistic practices. The development of the collection has been significantly supported by contributions from the Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts (IMOGA), distinguished collectors, artist-academics, and faculty members of the NEVÜ Faculty of Fine Arts.
Beyond supporting the visual and cultural identity of the Cappadocia region, the NEVÜ Art Collection adopts as its core mission the sustainability of this heritage and contributing to Turkish art education. In this respect, the collection goes beyond being merely an exhibition space and embraces an approach that prioritizes the educational and social functions of art. Contemporary art museums and collections undertake multifaceted roles such as preserving, researching, and exhibiting artworks of cultural and historical significance, while also enhancing public awareness through art.
In this context, as of 2026, the NEVÜ Art Collection has been positioned as a significant platform that brings together the public, educational, and cultural dimensions of art, with more than 350 works displayed across an area of approximately 2,000 m², along with supporting units such as a museum café.
MISSION
To preserve valuable works of Turkish art transmitted from the past to the present; to contribute to scientific and artistic research; to bring together different disciplines of art through collaboration with museums, universities, and related institutions; and to disseminate and publish artistic and educational outcomes.
Additionally;
- To provide an internationally standardized, creative, and productive research environment for researchers and students at our university,
- To enhance the quality and quantity of scientific and artistic activities within the university and the region,
- To support and nurture young artists, contributing to the development of new generations in the field of art,
- To develop social contribution projects that foster the engagement of art with society,
- To organize artistic and scientific activities such as courses, certificate programs, conferences, seminars, congresses, workshops, symposiums, and panels within the scope of our center,
thereby contributing to the aesthetic and cultural experience of future generations.
VISION
Our vision is to continuously develop our collection of artworks from different disciplines, to ensure the preservation of contemporary works, to create a rich resource that sheds light on important periods of art history and serves as a reference for research and education, and to become a pioneering center in this field
